I see a facebook post about the death of someone’s loved one who professed faith in Jesus Christ.

I scan the comments and see a lot of “she was a wonderful woman,” “he was always kind,” etc.

“Was”? Is he/she not with Jesus? Does not his/her life continue?

Yes.

I know it is not intentional. Probably for most it is not a big deal.

But I will go on sending condolences to the loved ones of a believer who died with words like, “she is such a kind woman.”

Oh…and I also type something like, “So sorry for your {temporary} loss.
